Local Renovation Pros is a marketing and contractor-matching platform, not a licensed contractor. Construction estimates, contracts, payments, warranties and services are provided directly by independent contractors.
Local Renovation Pros may
Collect a project request, evaluate configured coverage, introduce the homeowner to one independent contractor, send administrative notifications, and track the request’s operational status.
The independent contractor is responsible for
Confirming license and insurance information, communicating about the project, inspecting the property, preparing an estimate, defining scope, entering any construction contract, collecting payment, obtaining permits, performing services, and providing any warranty.
Homeowner verification
Before signing or paying, independently verify the contractor’s current license, insurance, references, scope, price, schedule, payment terms, permit responsibilities, and warranty. License records should be confirmed with the California Contractors State License Board or other applicable authority.
